Credit Card Balance Transfers

While using the online option is the preferred and fastest method, if you want to use a branch keep in-mind that safety protocols are in place due to COVID-19.

To request a balance transfer:

1. Schedule an appointment at your local branch.
2. Be sure to bring the account information for your existing cards that you want to pay off. A recent statement is most useful.
3. With in person balance transfer requests, you will be issued cashier’s checks to mail to your credit card companies.

To request a balance transfer:

1. Log in to Patelco Online™
2. Select the MORE widget and navigate to Member Services
3. Select the Balance Transfer form
4. Answer a few questions and then select Submit

Tip: Have your credit card account number and the payment address handy.

You can review the status of your transfer by selecting View Submitted Forms within the same Member Services widget. We’ll update you as your transfer is being processed and will send a check directly to your credit card company to complete the transfer.
